ABOUT ME
Rachael Wherry
Maybe you are looking to start piano lessons again after a long gap? Is learning to play the piano something you've always wanted to do? Perhaps you are looking for an inspiring piano teacher for your child? I can help. I will listen to your needs and design individual lessons to suit you. You will feel supported and encouraged and never feel out of your depth or worried. You will have lots of fun and learn to play all sorts of music!
I have over 30 years experience of teaching piano lessons, an honours degree in music from Liverpool University and a PGCE teaching qualification. I am experienced with young children and ran a pre-school music club when my own children were young.Â
The most important thing you should know about me is that I am a positive reinforcement teacher. I believe in encouraging my pupils, not being critical of them. I aim to inspire and enthuse and I know that pupils who are having fun and feel supported and valued whatever their level
